Nakamura Tokichi Honten (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") establishes the following "Photography Policy" (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") for events hosted and operated by the Company (hereinafter referred to as "the Event") to ensure that participants can enjoy the event safely and securely, and to facilitate smooth recording and publicity activities.
By reserving and participating in this Event, you are deemed to have confirmed and agreed to this Policy.
Article 1 (Photography by the management (the Company) and purpose of use)
Implementation of photography
During the Event, our staff and official photographers may take photos and videos of the event.
Purpose of use
・Photos and videos taken may be used for the following purposes.
・Publication on our official website, blog, and social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
・Publication on promotional materials such as posters, POPs, and flyers for future events in our stores.
Consideration and refusal of inclusion in photos/videos
・If we plan to take photos where your face is prominently featured, our staff will confirm with you at the reception on the day of the event.
・Customers who do not wish to be included in photos or videos should inform our staff at the reception on the day of the event. (We will make arrangements for seating for those who do not wish to be included, or blur their faces during editing.)
Article 2 (Photography rules for participants)
・Participants must adhere to the following rules regarding photography within the event and posting on social media, blogs, etc.
Permission for photography
・Still images (photos): Generally allowed.
・Videos: Allowed.
*Depending on the event content (lecturers, specific workshops, demonstrations, etc.), photography may be entirely prohibited. Please follow the instructions of the staff on the day.
Consideration for other participants and staff (protection of portrait rights)
・It is strictly prohibited to photograph other participants, our staff, lecturers, or other third parties whose faces are identifiable without their permission, or to post such photos on social media, etc.
・When posting photos or videos including other people on social media or blogs, please always process them with stamps or blurring to ensure that individuals cannot be identified.
Consideration for sound, flash, etc.
・Please refrain from using continuous shooting, flash photography, or large equipment (tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, etc.) that may disrupt the event or interfere with other customers' viewing or participation.
Article 3 (Prohibited photography and usage restrictions)
The following actions are strictly prohibited.
・Photography in prohibited areas (backstage, restrooms, near the cash register, etc.)
・Secret photography or harassment-related photography of other participants or staff.
・Actions that infringe on the copyrights or intellectual property rights of the Company, lecturers, or third parties (e.g., unauthorized photography or reproduction of teaching materials, texts, slides, etc. distributed at the event).
・Unauthorized use of photographed images or videos for commercial purposes (sales, promotion of other services, etc.).
Article 4 (Expulsion measures and disclaimer of liability for troubles)
・If you do not comply with this Policy and the instructions of the staff on the day, you may be asked to delete your photographic data and may be expelled from the event even if it is in progress. In such cases, we will not refund the participation fee.
・The Company shall not be held responsible for any troubles (infringement of portrait rights, infringement of copyrights, spread on social media, etc.) related to photography and social media posting that arise between participants, or between participants and third parties. Please resolve such issues between the parties concerned.
